Reviews

This is by far the best authentic Mexican food I have had on the Western Slope. It’s a very bare bones decor but so easy to overlook when you are tucking in to a big plate of delicious carnitas. The staff is exceptionally helpful and friendly. The food is very tasty and portions are generous. A liquor license is in the works. You must give this place a try.

My fiancee and I love this little taco shop.  Absolutely delicious and authentic.  We send a lot of time in San Diego with their wonderful Mexican food.  This place is as close as we can get to the awesome food near the border.  Owners are also very friendly and food is consistently excellent.

Simple. Quiet. Friendly service. Big fan of this place after a great mountain bike ride. Jaime the owner was cool. Had chicken, and carne asada tacos. Tasty and not fatty. Liked the green spicy sauce. Horchata also was good.

My family and I ate here for dinner tonight, and we absolutely loved it. We are so excited that they opened it right here in Fruita. The service was excellent. My 10-year-old ordered a breakfast burrito with green chili on it (which was delicious) but she couldn’t eat it because it was too spicy for her. We ordered her a torta instead and they didn’t charge us for it because she said they should have told us it was spicy! The prices were great too.. everything tasted so fresh and had so much flavor. Best Mexican food in the valley!
